Released on September 15, 2020, Louie's Little Legs and the Magic of Kindness is a tale of a pup named Louie and his lesson on the power of putting judgments aside and being kind. The story is inspired by the author's real life dog, Louie, a beagle and corgi mix, therefore, she wanted the illustration to be a whimsical version of her four legged pal. Because of this direction, I decided I wanted to do a combination of hand-painting and digital techniques to bring this story to life. Every page required acrylic painting, ink drawing, scanning, and photoshop, to create a bright and textured final product.
